1PM GAMES

Kansas City Chiefs (-11) @ Carolina Panthers

The Chiefs finally lost last week at the hands of our hero Josh Allen. And that’s a real bummer for the Panthers, who, if they weren’t equipped to face the Chiefs already, now have to endure the wrath of Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes. Brutal spot.
Who scores? Safe pick: Kareem Hunt. Crazy pick: Jalen Coker.

New England Patriots @ Miami Dolphins (-7)

The Dolphins are inching their way back to be fun again. A third win in a row here would start raising some eyebrows that maybe just maybe they can sneak into the playoffs. We should hope they win just to make their Thanksgiving game somewhat interesting. The Pats remain on the path of finding out what they have in Drake Maye. And so far so good on that front. The kid can play, let’s see if he can start taking even bigger steps by the end of the season.
Who scores? Safe pick: DeVon Achane. Crazy pick: Drake Maye.

Detroit Lions (-7.5) @ Indianapolis Colts

This is an inter conference matchup that really doesn’t have much consequence. That is, unless you’re a die hard, delusional Colts fan. Which I am. So hear me out. I think the Colts figured something out last week. AR looked really good. Steichen gave him the easy button and he smashed it. The team must be feeling some positive momentum for the first time all season. And the Lions just came off an utter romping last week, with their Thanksgiving game on deck. Followed by all their high leverage division games. I think we catch a sleepy Lions team off guard. I have a vision of Kenny Moore picking off a screen pass and taking it to the crib.
Who scores? Safe pick: David Montgomery. Crazy pick: Adonai Mitchell.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-5.5) @ New York Giants

What a week in New York. They finally benched Daniel Jones, who has been struggling mightily, and is owed a ton of money. So they decide to sit him down to make sure he doesn’t get hurt and stick them with that entire bill. Immediately he asked for, and was granted, his release. Now he’s floating around the league and will be picked up by some contender in a week or two. Meanwhile, the Giants roll on with Tommy DeVito. The Italian Stallion who captured everyone’s hearts last season. Unfortunately a quick pop of the hood on his stats reveal he’s an atrocious player. The Giants are quitting.
Who scores? Safe pick: Mike Evans. He’s back baby. Crazy pick: Jalen McMillan.

Minnesota Vikings (-3.5) @ Chicago Bears

You never know what’s going to happen in an NFC North matchup at Soldier Field, but it sure feels like the Vikings should take care of business. But I can’t shake the feeling something crazy happens…

Who scores? Safe pick: Justin Jefferson. It’s been too long. Crazy pick: Cole Kmet.

Tennessee Titans @ Houston Texans (-8.5)

Yawn. The Titans are a stain and the Texans are a fraud.
Who scores? Safe pick: Nico Collins. Crazy pick: Cade Stover.

Dallas Cowboys @ Washington Commanders (-10.5)

What a day for Commies fans. A chance to stomp the life out of their hated rival. Soak it all in. I just want to Cowboys to put Trey Lance in the game to at least give us something interesting to see. Otherwise, the Cowboys disgust me.
Who scores? Safe pick: Brian Robinson. Crazy pick: KaVontae Turpin.

4PM GAMES

Denver Broncos (-5.5) @ Las Vegas Raiders

Some people seem excited by this Broncos team. Couldn’t be me. Hard pass on this one.
Who scores? Safe(?) pick: Courtland Sutton. Crazy pick: Michael Mayer.

San Francisco 49ers @ Green Bay Packers (-2.5)

Sad face. Brock Purdy is a late surprise inactive with a shoulder injury. The Niners will start Brandon Allen in his place. So there goes that! CMC might touch the ball 45 times today. Which might actually give you a chance now that I think about it…

Who scores? Safe pick: CMC. Crazy pick: Dontayvion Wicks.

Arizona Cardinals @ Seattle Seahawks (-1)

This will turn out to be a really important game as the NFC West shakes itself out. Right now it’s anyone’s game, especially with the Purdy injury hindering the Niners. The Cardinals currently hold a tenuous lead, but the Seahawks showed a ton of heart last week and can’t be taken lightly. This game should be close and exciting to the very end. Ultimately I think Kyler Murray is too much for Seattle to stop.

Who scores? Safe pick: James Conner. Crazy pick: Tyler Lockett.
