1PM GAMES
Detroit Lions (-7) @ Chicago Bears
Lions and Tigers and Bears, oh my. Maybe next year this is an exciting matchup. Doubt it.
Jahmyr Gibbs / Cole Kmet
Cleveland Browns @ Cincinnati Bengals (-9)
Recent results have given the Bengals the tiniest glimmer of hope. If they win out and a few games fall their way, the Bengals could find themselves in the playoffs. And let me tell you, no team wants to find themselves face to face with Joe Burrow in a loser-goes-home match. I should point out that we need to pay our respects to Jameis Winston’s season. The Browns have benched him in favor of Dorian Thompson-Robinson. Pinch me.
Ja’Marr Chase / Mike Gesicki
Philadelphia Eagles (-3.5) @ Washington Commanders
The Commies have had a fun, unexpected season, and are likely in the playoffs. But the Eagles are absolutely humming right now and should speed bump the Commanders on their way to contending for the 1 or 2 seed in the NFC.
AJ Brown / Ben Sinnott
Los Angeles Rams (-3) @ New York Jets
Welcome to the party, New York. These idiots decided to finally play decent ball in December: far too late. Aaron Rodgers is starting to look near his old self, and him and Davante Adams and Garrett Wilson are cooking. Meanwhile, the Athletic just dropped a massive story on the disfunction of the Jets and the Woody Johnson ownership. Supposedly, his college-age kids are making real, franchise altering decisions based on things like Madden ratings and what their friends think. Sounds pretty sweet, actually.
Davante Adams / Aaron Rodgers
New York Giants @ Atlanta Falcons (-8.5)
As if we needed another indictment of the 2024 New York Giants… they are 8.5 point underdogs to the Falcons. The Falcons who, a few days ago, made the call to bench Kirk Cousins and start rookie Michael Penix. This is, as far as I can tell, an unprecedented move to bench their highly accomplished and compensated starter in lieu of a rookie with 3 games left in the season and right in the thick of the playoff race. Surely this will end well…
Bijan Robinson / Kyle Pitts
Arizona Cardinals (-5.5) @ Carolina Panthers
Both these teams have been considered *ass* and *exciting* at different times this year. Funnily enough, they will both end up in the same place come playoff time: the *beach*.
James Conner / Tommy Tremble
Tennessee Titans @ Indianapolis Colts (-3.5)
The Colts had a real chance at the playoffs… and once again pissed down their leg last week. What’s that now, 10+ years in a row? See you in August.
Anthony Richardson / Josh Downs
4PM GAMES
Minnesota Vikings (-3) @ Seattle Seahawks
Are the Vikings sneakily the most underrated team of the season? They have a legit chance at the #1 seed in the NFC, but even if they don’t get that they will be a tough out come January. If Sam Darnold can continue playing at such a high level, and it seems he should given his coach is the great Kevin O’Connell, they are a real contender. The Seahawks are in a dogfight in the NFC West and absolutely need this NFC victory. Love that this game is in Seattle – let’s hear it #12.
Justin Jefferson / Cam Akers
New England Patriots @ Buffalo Bills (-14)
Josh Allen is sprinting to an MVP trophy, and he closes the season playing the Patriots, the Jets, and the Patriots again. My man is on the heater of a lifetime and shows no sign of stopping.
Josh Allen / Hunter Henry
San Francisco 49ers (-2) @ Miami Dolphins
If you were to look at the schedule back in August and scroll to week 16, you’d have thought this was an absolute banger of a game. Unfortunately, it is not.
George Kittle / Malik Washington
Jacksonville Jaguars @ Las Vegas Raiders (-2.5)
I mean… c’mon. Don’t make me laugh.
Alexander Mattison / Brock Bowers
